Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Holy Place Worship Center for Mr. Claude Lawrence Myers, Sr., 63, of Hattiesburg, who died December 17, 2021 at Forrest General Hospital.

Bishop James Walley will officiate.

Interment will be in South Hill Cemetery.

Claude Lawrence Myers, Sr. was born on October 29, 1958 to Earnestine Myers and Lawrence Willis. He departed this life on December 17, 2021 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS.

Claude went to school at Hattiesburg High School. He worked for The City of Hattiesburg for 17 years and then begin to work for Serenity Construction until his health began to fail.

He loved cracking jokes, being around family, and being the life of the party.

Claude was preceded in death by his loving wife of 33 years, Thea Myers, his mother, Earnestine Myers and his father, Lawrence Myers; sister, Shelia Ann Myers.

He leaves to cherish his memories; one son, Claude (Teratta) Myers of Petal, MS; daughters, Lawanna (Michael) Ramirez of Tacoma, Washington, and Sasha (Alfred) Dixon of Petal, MS; six grandchildren, Maurius Ramirez and LaMirah Ramirez of Tacoma, Washington; Gabryelle Myers, Aamori Dixon, Caysen Myers and Kingsten Dixon all of Petal: brother, Larry (Gwen) Myers and sister, Lee Annie Moran of Hattiesburg. A host of nieces and nephews.
