Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Friday at Bolton Cemetery for David C. Bolton, 65, of Beaumont, MS, who died March 17, 2022 at Merit Health Wesley in Hattiesburg.

David was born to the late Elijah and Mattie Bolton on July 30, 1956. He graduated from Beaumont High School and went on to serve in the United States Army. Upon completing his service, he worked for many years at Hood Industries, progressing to Foreman. He also worked for the Town of Beaumont. David was a craftsman by trade and loved working with his hands. He never met a stranger and was genuinely loved and adored by anyone who knew him. He was a member of Sweet Home M.B. Church of Beaumont, MS.

Survivors include: 3 sons, David L. Bolton, Roderick Bolton and Redgenald Bolton; daughter, Zimberlyn Bolton; granddaughters, Me'Yasha Bolton and Myla Bolton; grandson, Ahmad Bolton; great-grandson, Carter Calhoun; sisters, Dorothy McGilvery, Hazel Brown, Willie Gayle Cooley, Dixie (Vardamus) Bolton, and Winnie Maddox; brothers, Edward (Louise) Bolton and Jeffrey Bolton and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
