Services are scheduled for 1:00 Thursday at Owens-Ramey Chapel for Dorcas Lymon, 74, of Wiggins, who died January 21, 2022 at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport.

Dr. Robert Earl James will do the eulogy and Reverend Calvin Ramsey will officiate.

Interment will be at New Zion Cemetery.

Dorcas Elaine Williams was born August 4, 1948 to the late Kizer and Roberta Roberson Williams in Wiggins, MS.

Dorcas attended Locker High School and was later employed at International Paper Company.

On October 24, 1979 she met and married John Lymon.

Dorcas was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; Kaydean W. Bostic, Ienna W. Davis and Elva Joyce Husband; brothers, Robert Williams and Phillip Brian Ramsey.

Leave to cherish and honor her memory is her adoring husband of 43 years, John Lymon; children, Demetrius L. Smith and Roderick E. Smith both of Gulfport, MS, Duncan L. (Tangela) Smith of Wiggins and Anton D. (Debbie) Smith of Grovetown, GA; siblings, Linda (Walter) Murray, Ruthie (Carl) Bracks, Phillip Williams, Dr. Robert Earl (Drucilla) James and Reverend Calvin (Cynthia) Ramsey; 8 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws and other relatives.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon.
