Obituary For Eileen Bates

Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Gateway Baptist Church for Eileen Bates, 60, of Lumberton, who died September 17, 2022, at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital in Brandon.

Interment will be in Love Quarters Cemetery.

Survivors include her children; Iranetta Bates, Iyelle Gutter, Timberly Donkor, Christian Bates, Eileen Bates, Chelsea Bates, Tyren Bates and Tyra Bates.

Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Friday at Church of the Way in Lumberton.

    My condolences to the family. Eileen and I was childhood friends living across the street from one another.. I was their when you named your two oldest children. You wanted to use the letter I. You came up with two beautiful names. I also remember fun we had on 106 ave. I still have those memories and I will hold on to them. Rest now my sister Rest.
