Graveside services are scheduled for 12:00 noon Tuesday at Highland Cemetery for Johnny L. Vickers, 59, of Hattiesburg, who died September 2, 2020 at Forrest General Hospital.

Johnny was born to March 28, 1961 to the late Annie Mae Vickers and the late Paul Dozier. He accepted Christ at an early age. Johnny was a graduate of Hattiesburg High School, Class of 1979. He loved sports, especially basketball and baseball. He also enjoyed cooking.

Those he leaves to cherish his memories are his sisters; Hattie Vickers of Blue Island, IL, Deborah (Cavin) Bonner of Vossberg, MS, Mary (Darryl) Jones of Waynesboro, MS, Thelma William of Waco, TX, Stella Williams of Fort Worth, TX, Audrey Davis of East Point, GA and Deborah Ester of Hattiesburg; brothers, Robert (Karen) Vickers of Flint, MI, Gregory Vickers of Detroit, MI, Willie (Stephanie) Harris, Paul (Janice) Harris, Tony (Joyce) Ester, Willard Ester and Teddy Ester all of Hattiesburg, MS; special mom/ cousin/Doctor, Carrie Johnson of Hattiesburg, MS and special cousin, Vera Love of Hattiesburg and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
