Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday at 11:00 at Bond Cemetery for Ronnie Lee James, 55, of Wiggins who died December 11, 2020 at Memorial Hospital in Wiggins.

Reverend Eddie Jones will officiate.

Mr. Ronnie James was born January 27, 1955 to the late Maggie James. He departed this life on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Memorial Hospital of Stone County.

Ronnie attended Locker High School and later joined the Job Corp where he finished his training. Ronnie recently joined H.A. Brown United Methodist Church under the leadership of Pastor Eddie Jones. He served faithfully until church service was cancelled due to Covid 19.

He is preceded in death by his mother and one sister Lemorne Hugger.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a devoted wife of 36 years Marilyn Powe-James of Wiggins, MS; two children: Pamela (Kenny) McLaughlin and Kevin (Avis) Stubbs both of Wiggins, MS; two sisters: Edna Mae Johnson and Christine Monroe both of Wiggins, MS; his mother-in-law Annie Powe of Wiggins, MS; one aunt Emma Doris Calloway of Wiggins, MS; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two babies in the family that he loved dearly: Kensley Monroe of Hattiesburg, MS; and Keilan Corbett of Jackson, MS; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.

Due to COVID-19, MASKS ARE REQUIRED DURING THE SERVICE.
