Obituary For Sherman Amott Young

Services are scheduled for 11:00 Saturday at St. James Methodist Church in Purvis, for Sherman A. Young, 47, of Baton Rouge, LA, who died July 31, 2021 at his residence.

Sherman was born to the late Howard Earl Young and Varya Jean Young. He graduated from Petal High School and received his Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Jackson State University.

He is survived by mother, Varya Young; brother, Gene Earl Young and many other relatives.

Visitation will be from 9:00 until service time at the church.
