Services are scheduled for 1:00 Wednesday at Greater New Life Apostolic Faith Church for Willie Gray, 55, of Laurel who died February 4, 2021 at Forrest General Hospital.

Pastor Bishop Arthur Cohens will officiate.

Interment will be at Oak Hill #2 cemetery in Laurel.

Willie James Gray was born in Boston, MA on July 5, 1965 to his father James Furman who preceded in death and mother Barbara Gray. Willie attended Sara J. Elementary School in Boston and later relocated to Purvis, MS where he attended Purvis High School and went on to receive an Associates Degree in Electrical Studies from Jones Community College in Ellisville, MS.

Willie was baptized in JESUS' name at True Way Holiness at the age of 13 and received the Holy Ghost under the late Elder Deas. He later joined Emmanuel Apostolic in Laurel under Herscal Talley, where he and his lovely bride where united in Holy Matrimony on July 9, 2005. Willie later joined Greater New Life Apostolic Faith Church under Bishop Arthur Cohens where he served as Ordained Deacon, Sunday School teacher and Brotherhood Chairman.

Deacon Gray leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Barbara Gray; children, Warren Gray and Damon Gray; mother, Evangelist Barbara Gray; stepsons, Dewick and Darrick; one sister and two brothers.

Visitation will be from 12:00 until service time at the church.
