Services are scheduled for 11:00 Saturday at Emmanuel Faith Baptist Church for Willie Mae Brown, 84, of Wiggins, who died October 15, 2022, at her daughter's residence.

Pastor Rob Harris, Jr. will officiate.

Willie Mae Brown was born June 30, 1958 to the late Charles Sledge and Elizabeth Slay in Lawrence County, MS where she attended a catholic church. She also attended school in Lawrence County.

In 1955, she moved to Wiggins where she started her family.

Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by a son, Sammy Lee Barnes, two brothers, Charles Slay and Samuel Slay, two grandchildren, Nicole Barnes and Lakeisha Jones.

Left to cherish her life: childhood sweetheart, Samuel Martin: daughters, Rose (Larry) Ross and Veronica (Fredrick) Brown; sons, Johnny (Mioshi) Brown, Jonathan (Christine) Brown, Jerry (Deanna) Brown and Damien (Alisha) Stubbs; sister, Theresa (Timothy) Lebeau and a host of grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 Friday at Owens-Ramey Chapel.
